i got a new baby a few weeks ago and he seened ok when i got him he didnt eat too much but just figured it was from being in a new home. but the last couple days he has seemed realy stressed/jittery. he has been shedding on his arms and legs the last few days. but what realy worried me was today when i got home it looked like he threw up the few crix and worms that he had eaten the day before. and he was just sitting on his log with his eyes closed like he didnt feel good at all. so i guess my question is could it be possible that he is not eating much because he is shedding and two could he have thrown up from eating to much. the basking temp is at 109 and its a brand new reptisun 10.0 bulb. he is 7 1/2" and 15g's

I had a beardie who threw up his food from the night before, and it was because when I fed him the night before, he didn't have enough time under his light to digest before his lights went out. Always make sure that your beardie has at least one hour to bask under his light before you feed him. But to be safe, I always make sure my beardie has at least 2 hours if I decide to give him a little late night snack.

How are you measuring temps? What type of thermometer are you using and where is it placed?
What kind of basking bulb are you using?

im pretty sure he had at least 2 hrs of time but i suppose it could be. as for temps i am using a acurite probe and i have a CHE for the basking spot and a reptisun 10.0 for uvb

You need more than just a CHE for basking. Beardies need and like very bright environments for day time. CHEs are primarily used for nighttime use, not day time. You can use a cheap household bulb or flood light for basking. Just make sure it is a WHITE light not yellow or any other colour.

well today will be 2 weeks that i have had the little guy and he is still kinda got me worried. i have not actualy seen him eat i put crickets in there about 2-3 times a day and end up taking out all that havent fried. he dosent touch his veggies and basically sits in the same spot on his log all day with his eyes half closed. i had a CHE but changed it to a clear household bulb like suggested. his basking spot is 106ish and the other side is around 78 his arms and legs have all shed his tale is completely a duller color like its about to shed but has not after 3-4 days. i have given him 2 baths and he does ok with them. would an actual reptile bulb increase his appetite he is 7 1/2" and now 13g's which i belive is ok. also his orange colors have faded a bit since i got him is this from being stressed? any ideas/ help would be great.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
