On September 1st my friend lost his Beardie outside in the yard while he was moving out.. We looked around couldnt find it, a couple days went by of rain and cold nights so we thought he was a goner.. This month we have had alot of rain and very cold nights in Vancouver BC Canada. So today i get a call from someone saying the landlord found a lizard in the bush he was trimming. Sure enough it was the beardie! He took a poo in the container he was in... I inspected the matter and found traces of beetle shells and grass. I dont know how he survived..
Heres a pic i took today SEP 30 he survived 4 weeks in Canadian weather!

Yes it truly is amazing. He must of lived in the same bush the entire time. The bush was about 10 feet away from where he was last seen. I can take a pic of the landscape if anyone is interested. There is still hope for Amigo and any other beardies that have gone missing!

That's incredible, looks in good health too. Imagine how hard it is for them to survive in a habitat they're designed for  must be really rough :banghead:

Glad to see some good news! Never doubt the survival instincts of a beardie, there was one found wandering around downtown of the city that I live in.

Yes apparently never doubt the survival instincts of a beardie :) .. The night before him going missing i watched him up on the vine in his tank snatching flies out of mid air.. The day following the landlord cut the grass so we definitely thought he was goner. We also had a big hail storm mid Sept he made it through.

Wow, that's great! Good thing he wasn't here in Calgary, we had an actual snowstorm not too long ago! I'm so glad you got him back safe and sound. :blob8:

When I posted That it gave us hope that Amigo would show up I never dreamed it would happen Amigo disappeared around the same time as your dragon the end of aug/ first of sept. The temps here have been in the low 30's at night and several days of very cold rains and low 50's. He was found 10 days ago. so NEVER give up hope on these little guys.
I guess we have 2 extreme tails of survival.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
