Merlin knows it's springtme and her activity levels are way up. We took her outside on Saturday as it was finally warm out - brought her over to my fiance's parents' house to hang out in the back yard. I got bearded a couple of times (first time outside since fall, so she's still getting used to it). She enjoyed running down the yard and pancaking herself out and just bask.
And then yesterday was rainy and cold out, so poor Merlin had to deal with being inside all day. And she wanted nothing to do with it. She was sprinting all over the apartment, crawling over our shoes at the door, scratching at the front door (she knows where both that door and the porch door are, she also knows my fiance's parents' house and where their porch door is!). And at one point she jumped off the couch and was sitting on the floor headbobbing! I was in laughing fits all afternoon from her!
One more thing she has started to do this March - she's started to jump! I've seen videos of beardies jumping and wondered "why doesn't my baby jump?" Well, no more of that! Merlin will jump up to climb the couch, jumps off the couch. I was sitting with my laptop one afternoon last week while she was walking around and she lept up onto my keyboard and proceeded to climb up to my shoulder. And in the car Saturday, it was jump off the seat, jump and climb back up lol. They're full beardie jumps, she gets herself prepared and launches off the ground! Makes me glad spring is finally here (or at least some warm days) and that she's so active!
