So some of you may be wondering why I gave the title I did. Well, anyone who has played video games knows that there is one called Yoshi's Island. Well, here is His (or her) story...

Hi my name is Yoshi and I came to my slaves just a few days ago. Once for the past few weeks the two people would come into Petsmart and look at me and I would look back at them, close to the glass. I was trying to tell them to, "Please take me." Because I was in a tiny viv with 4 other beardies. It was very crowded, and I was the biggest beardie.
So a few days ago, my wish came true and the two people came and got me! I was SO happy to be getting out of that small viv, but I was also kind of nervous going to a new place.
When I got to my new home, it was so big! There were rocks, a branch, a cave and dishes for food and water. I am given yummy crickets and veggies. I am also given baths. I love my new home! Here are some pics that mommy took of me...

Mommy and Daddy say I sleep in strange places

I like to sit up high on my branch so I can see what Mommy and Daddy are doing.

I like to check to see if my temps are right. Mommy, Daddy...Don't you remember what those nice people on bd.org said? My basking temps should be between 100-105F and cool side should be around 80F.

It has dawned on me that it's been over a month since I've updated Yoshi's thread. We keep him and Aurora in the living room, and for the most part he has been calm with the exception of a few days where he would run around head bobbing and black bearding. We had to move the living room around and now he has a better view of her. He has been going bonkers off and on, but has been calming down as the days pass. We think he may be showing some signs of brumation according to the acticle I read on here. So fwe are just keeping an eye on that. But he's still his sweet loveable Yoshi self.
As of 9/28/12 Yoshi is 15in (tail nip) and 395grams.

Yoshi is doing well. Been a little more sleepy during the day, but is also active as well. So we aren't quite sure if he will be starting to prepare for brumation. Anyway, thought I'd share some pics that I've taken over the past few weeks.

It has been over a month since I have posted anything. I have photobucket on my phone. But I'm not sure how to copy the pic links. So for now this will be a written update.
Yoshi is doing good. There was a day last week when he pretty much slept most of the day. He ate his morning meal, basked a little then moved his nonadhesive shelfliner crawled under it and went to sleep. The only part of him that could be seen was his nose.
Yoshi is definitely our Christmas beardie. Just like last year he likes to climb in the tree. But he doesn't climb up high.

That is all I have for now. But hopefully I can post pics soon.

I realize I haven't really been posting. I am posting from my phone. But when I have internet back I will be posting more as well as sharing lots of pics
Yoshi is still doing well but has been sleeping a good bit. He sleeps for a few days wakes up and eats. Then he stays up for a day or 2 then goes back to sleep.

Well that's all for now but hopefully I will be able to post pics within a few weeks.

It has been a few months since I've updated. I finally have access to a computer so I can now post pics again and there will be quite a few in this post.
Yoshi has been doing good. He actually brumated over the winter. Right now he seems to be going through a little Spring fever with his hormones going crazy but he is still eating.

A few months ago I started learning crochet. So I decided what better way to get some practice than to make the beardies their very own blankies. Because of the type of yarn this is made from, we do not put them in the beardies vivs. They are only used outside of viv when spending time with us on cool nights.

It's neat to seeing yeshiva grow up. He is a very handsome boy. I love the shots when he is looking straight at the camera especially the one where his head is tilted to the side.

I noticed you referred to him as yeshiva. I was just curious, is that a different meaning to his name or does that mean something different. That is really neat.

Yoshi has started shedding on different parts of his body like the sides of his face, head and the widest part of his tail.
We've been wanting to get the beardies a harness for awhile and finally did. We found them on beardeddragon.co and I think made by OgleRPets. Because of the weight listed, we decided to get one for now because all of our beardies would be able to use it. Yoshi did pretty good when we put it on him and actually ran around for a few minutes with it.
