Yet another lighting question

Proud new mommy of a 4 month old baby beardie, and utterly terrified that I'm going to kill him.

Quick specs: wooden terrarium, 115cm by 60cm by 45cm, newspaper substrate until I can get tiles, cool end of the tank around 80-85f, basking spot 107f at the highest point, nighttime temps around 70f measured with digital probe thermometers.

He is active and a voracious slayer of crickets and greens, very alert, healthy looking poop, etc. However, I am confused about the lighting! When I was looking for a UVB fluorescent tube, the guy helping recommended a combo basking/uvb light - specifically the Komodo D3 80 watt here: http://www.komodoproducts.com/media...7_solar_d3_uv_basking_bulb_80w_1_copy_9_1.jpg

It seems like combo bulbs don't put out enough UVB light, though...? Particularly when they're blocked by mesh? In Ferdinand's case, there is a circle cut out of the top of his terrarium and the light hands down 6 inches above the highest point of his basking spot, but is covered by a protective wire frame so that he can't burn himself on the bulb. Is he getting enough UVB light? If the bulb is okay, does he need more wattage...? I believe it goes all the way up to 150. I know that Reptisun and Arcadia are recommended, but neither are available in my country. I'm limited to Exo Terra and Komodo products.

Your metrics look good, but you're right to be concerned about UVB. I'm not terribly familiar with Komodo's UVB bulbs, but if memory serves, they're not great. And most compact-type UVB bulbs simply don't have the power or range to provide adequate UVB exposure for a bearded dragon. If you can get your hands on an Exo Terra Reptile UVB200 Linear Bulb and install it inside the enclosure, that's probably your best bet.

I agree, I've used Exo terra linear tubes myself. The Repti-glo 10.0 long tube is a decent bulb .

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
