i finally rgot to join BD.org! now all i need is a beardie and some friends in this community! I believe with God's favor I'll buy a baby beardie i've been waiting for days in PetSmart. Awesome store i recommend! I think is the secon best after PetCo. I'm around Mesilla New Mexico so users near my area hoorrays!!! God bless you all and your Beardies!!!

Personally, i hate petco, petsmart, and stores like it. They care for their beardies (and most other lizards) horribly to say the least. They don't provide the proper care that a beardie needs, they over crowd them, don't feed them enough (which makes them bite and eat parts of eachother), and they buy them when they are still too young and won't listen to anyone about the proper care for beardies. They make me so mad I wish I could just buy all of their beardies so they will be taken care of.

Hello and welcome to bd.org. Some pet stores don't take care of beardies and some do. I don't like big chain stores just because but have a wonderful small store near me,while they don't know all they claim to,they are really trying to do the best they can.

I agree with the above comments..Petco..Petsmart..and a few other chains really have no clue from what I have seen.
If it was not for this website I dont know what I would have done....The excellent care I give my dragons and the state of health they are in, is a direct reflection of the advice and knowledge I have received from this site!
