Yellowing of mouth

Hi all. I’m really worried about my beardie. I noticed his mouth is starting to become yellow. He’s active and eating no real changes other than the discoloration. We have an appointment with the vet in two weeks, this vet specializes in BD and is the closest exotic vet near me. Is there anything I should do in the meantime??

Yellow is a color that is natural to them can you post pics?

Hello,

Pictures would be helpful~ The "yellow mouth pigmentation" is a recessive gene that many of
them have carried down in their DNA. It is primarily from the Pogona Barbata species & is the
basis of self defense.
If the yellowing came on slowly then it is most likely the pigmentation change.
Liver issues or failure can manifest as yellowish gums, etc. If that isn't the case the it will most
likely be genetic pigmentation.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
