Yellow scales after shedding

So two days ago my bearded dragon shed the bottom of his tail and it looked like he had some blood underneath the scales and he flinched when I touched it, so I added some honey to see what it would do. Now the blood is gone but his scales there have a yellow tint. The top of his tail is unshed so I am thinking maybe the bottom shedding came off early, but would that cause it to turn yellow?

To me it looks like it was maybe pinched in something. Is there anyway that was possible? I don't know too much about tail rot but I would look out for signs of infection.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴

Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
