Yellow Fungus

My Beardie has been having a tough time with a shed (a couple weeks he has been shedding on this leg). Yellow colouring has started to show in some spots close to his vent his neck and around his lip. He hasn't slowed eating or anything, so it hasn't worried me too much. I'm just wondering what yellow fungus is, why it happens and what are the cures/treatments.

If it is yellow fungus, it's important that you start treatment immediately. Any delay can cause huge problems.

so basically what that website is saying isd it isn't somethng that can be cured in like months, it cures in years..?

Well no thats not always the case it is dependant on the level of care and treatment and the level of infection as well.Generally it does take a few months but in a case that is really bad if the animal were to survive at all it could take a very long time for recovery.

Can yellow fungus be deadly?

if it's a mild case can they be cured in a week or so?

Yes yellow fungus is deadly if too far gone and no I dont think even the easiest of cases would resolve in a week at least not that I have ever heard.

so what if your dragon has yellow fungus but your not able to be consistent in treating it? (like for me if mine ever got it i can only treat it half the week, the other half im at my mothers house..)
