I know there have been a lot of posts about people asking whether or not their beardies have yellow fungus, but none of them have really been able to help me. Lately I've been noticing some yellow coloration in George's beard. I haven't really been paying too much attention to it, but tonight it occurred to me that it could potentially be yellow fungus. Since I'm not sure what the early stages of yellow fungus look like, I'd thought I'd post here and see if anyone could confirm it.
(I apologize if the pics aren't very good; George wasn't too thrilled about having his picture taken  ).
Here's a bit of info about George's feeding and setup, if that helps:
He lives in a 40 gallon long with paper towel substrate. Basking and UVB are good. I actually just replaced the UVB bulb about 2 weeks ago. Right now he's getting fed twice a day; one meal is veggies (turnip greens, mustard greens, zucchini, and butternut squash), and the other meal consists of worms (a mix of small superworms, phoenix worms, silkworms, and for the past few days he's been getting a few small wax worms as treats). I know that food can sometime stain their scales, but I don't think the squash would stain his beard that far down. His last bath was last night. Also, his arms are definitely about to start shedding so the rest of his body might be too. Could this be natural coloration, the start of the shedding process, or is it the beginning of yellow fungus?
Thank you for reading my post, I"m sorry it was so long!
