Yellow fungus? Help

so Nibbles has this gray-yellow stuff on her top lip and I don’t know what it is. She doesn’t seem bothered by it, but I’m getting a little worried. I did pick at the shed right there a little to help loosen it. Could that be the cause of this? Thanks.

That's just a rim of shed and neeeeeeever pick any shed off or you can introduce infection to the underlying tissue that is not ready to shed. See this dude here, that's normal and will always come off when it's ready.

It’s a few days later and now I don’t think it’s loose shed, look
