YAY! He's here! *PICS*

Sorry for such the long wait guys, I got so excited with him finally being here I forgot to do this LOL. Anyway, Ernesto (I think his name will be Ernesto...) came today! He is from Annapolis Bearded Dragons, and OMG I could not be happier! As soon as I got him he let me hold him, probably calmed down by the shipping though. I gave him a bath and he drank a lot of water, it was too cute. Next I thought I would try to feed him, and to my surprise he ate 36 crickets!

Anyway I love him, and Anthony was right, he IS a little brat, already bit me once! That's ok though, I think he was just telling me who was boss He's also pretty adventurous, exploring everything in his viv! Anyway, I'll stop boring you with my story and get on to the PICS!

This is the first time I have ever held a bearded dragon!

Right after he jumped off my hand and went "exploring"...

Thanks He was born May 3rd, so he is almost 3 months old. That's awesome about yours too! How old is he?

i think he was born around april 20th but im not sure about his age for a fact. hes about 10 1/2 inches long so if that helps lol

LOL, yeah now that he is settled in, I can't keep him still! He just wants to go EVERYWHERE! And he licks everything, I'm so glad I didn't get him SAND :shock: . He's very fun though, you are going to love yours I just know it!

Hey Justin,

I'm glad you like your boy, and you see I told you his colors are pretty amazing up close! You catch subtle changes and small variations that the camera misses! And I see you found out the hard way that he is a brat! LOL Yes he will bit you, but he's calmed down a lot in the past two weeks, he was a really wild child a month ago! :shock: But the more you handle him, the better off he will be, and the quicker he will relax/get use to you.

Again seeing that your happy really makes my day!

yea i notice the colors as your saying. idk if its the time of day or if hes just going to be a yellowish oragnge? only time will tell. ya someone told me to use a rice sock and heat it up a little bit and let him sit on it. i tryed it and it works great. hell just stay still.

Yep, your right! I was very surprised how amazing they are in person! And yeah the camera misses a LOT.

I got her from a reptil shop in the area. they got her and her clutch mates from the San Diego Reptile Expo. I originally wanted a male, but all the really colorful ones were females.

Things are great! Only problem is he's determined in whatever he does, so when he runs away, he doesn't like to be stopped, not one bit! He puffs right up and opens his mouth, its so cute! He also likes to glass dance, but I think it's because he can see his reflection. Tomorrow I need to buy some paper to put around the sides and back. Surprisingly, he isn't showing many signs of relocation stress, he even ate some greens for me! I love him so much, and you will definitely love yours too!

Don't forget to post the link to your pictures thread in here! I don't want to miss out on your guy either!

Oh and thanks for the compliment, I can't wait to see what he will look like all grown up!
