Does anyone else have picky dragons?
My baby Frilled Dragon is a picky little fella...he sometimes doesn't want you to watch him eat....
But my beardies were always good eaters until their first brumation!!! OMG! 2 Vet visits, hours of fretting...
After 6 months of me having to hand feed Ash, he started eating hornworms after I starved him at my Vet's suggestion. He is perfectly healthy, just very moody and picky. No Supers, no crickets, no wax worms, no phoenix worms, no veggies. He only wanted baby food and I had to pry his mouth open and shove superworms in.
I went through a cage and light redo, all sorts of stuff. The Vet thinks he is just a brat!
Well, I spent a small fortune of hornworms, hornworm eggs, habitat cups and food for my 100 plus hornworm eggs......ugh.
Tonight Ash actually ate a superworm by himself out of a bowl! OMG, I wanted to cry!!!!
My question is, how many other owners have these type issues? I know BayouPig went through this with her Em, who is about the same age as Ash...
