Saldy, i had to give my beardie away to the local pet store (mom and pop, it's run by a herp vet) but it was for the best. I should be picking her back up soon though.

While i was there, i was told that they could hold her for me if i purchased something lol, so i looked around at jackson chameleons and such, saw a beautiful panther, and noticed some very interesting tokay morphs...but i had never held a snake before. I was looking over the california kingsnakes, and then looked at the ball pythons...this female was the first snake i've held before, and i fell in love!!

She's so cute and tiny! I can't wait to see her grow all big and strong!

She's getting comfortable! I love the ballies, they look so cute when they knot up lol. She looks like she could strike in this snapshot, and she looks nice and clean!

Not sure about the breeding project. The only two normal ballies they had were this one and another female. The rest were different morphs, albino, or the few piebalds and other large pythons (also children)

Nope, have to wait (got to watch them feed at the store. I wouldn't want to buy without that tbh, but my luck it was feeding day lol)

You have a suggested ambient temp during day and night cycles?

Keep the ambient temp at around 82-86F with a hot side(and basking spot) of about 88-90...At night you can let the hot side(and basking spot) drop no more than 10 degrees...but be careful and don't let the cool side drop lower than 72.

Okay, so my ambient is sitting around 84 all day, hot side is 92, and i have cool area (it seems to stay the same all day) that is about 78. At night, the ambient is about the same, basking the same, but that pesky cool spot drops to 73 lol. It's only a small section of the viv, basically opposite side of her normal hide, i put a second hide. Temps seem fair, but i was just concerned about the cool side. The heat pad does not seem to reach it, and the lamp has to make up for it.( I don't have funds to set up heat tape as of yet)

That sounds really good, actually =) Just be careful your hot spot doesn't get TOO hot, though that temp is fine. =P
