Thank-you Dawn for sending me to Xena's thread, I just read all the pages and can't stop crying, and again I say to you and your family, that I'm so sorry for your loss........she really fought for her life, but I'm so glad that your husband was holding her in her favorite place as she left you,............. she knew her mom and dad loved her,.......... my prayers go out to you all.

My sweet lovely girl, you came to us so neglected, you had been in a bad place. They only fed you twice a week, but somehow you were strong-willed and hung on in hopes for a better life.

When I got that phone call that we could come see you, we couldn't seem to get there fast enough. That was the coldest night of the year, and our van's heater stopped working that day. But I snuggled you in loads of blankies to get you home alive.

When I first held you, you were so scared, but I knew you would come to trust again... you ate 4 bowls of veggies that first night!

You turned into such a beautiful, sassy girl, we couldn't help but love you from that first day. And with each day we shared with you, you made us love, laugh, snort, giggle, and tugged at our heartstrings all the time. We all hope to see you again someday... you will always be loved, and always be in our hearts.

And that big fat tongue of yours! and that beautiful creamy white belly <3 ...

You claimed daddy, and he loved you so much... this is one of my favorite pics of my beautiful "guard dragon"...

Mom, Crash looked at me again...

And the funny way you shed... looked like you dipped your face into the gray paint...

You loved your blankies... got grumpy if we forgot to tuck you in...

You loved cuddling with Crash sometimes...

And I have NO idea how you balanced on here and didn't fall off... worried me to pieces...

and just your overall silliness...

You were definitely the apple of my eye, and while my heart is still hurting, I know you'll be keeping watch over us. We love you sweetheart...
