So some of you might have seen my post a while ago in the ER section about how my guy reptar decided to spend 8 days outside before coming back to the front door. Due to cold temperatures I didn't think he'd ever come back so I bought a second one named jane. Now that reptar is back and healthy and I'm too poor to afford another setup right now I have them both in a 40 gal separated by cardboard. I do have proper heat and lighting on each side before you start to worry. My question is that I know they can't see each other by reflections on the glass or any of that but they do stare at where the other one is on the opposite side all the time. Also when reptar head bobs jane will immediately wave, as soon as she stops he'll start head bobbing again. I was wondering if this is common or not. Do they have thermal sight? My guess is they might be able to smell each other's pheromones or such. Just wondering.
