I bought my beardie at petsmart. I'm new to this and had no idea that each brand of UVB was different and in fact many are dangerous.
I started with a Zilla bulb and my beardie was just getting slower and slower it seemed like, and his eyes seemed a bit puffy. I was getting worried and someone on these forums suggested I look at a reptisun bulb. Well I just switched it to a reptisun 10.0 TODAY.
My beardie is the MOST ACTIVE I HAVE SEEN. He's all over the place! before he used to sit in one spot for hours. Now every time I look over he's somewhere else! He's even started eating his veggies which he hasn't done since I got him a week ago.
