Hello! I hope someone here can advise me on what to do, I’m not sure many vets in my area are open.
So basically, my beardie (Female, 3 years old, 40 gallon long tank, adequate heat and t10 18 inch uvb replaced every six months outside of tank, eats fine, poops fine) has been running around her tank restless and glass surfing whenever I’m around. I assume she wants to come out, but I don’t always have the means to keep an eye on her so she can’t always come out. Well today I looked in the bottom of her foot and it looks like it’s been rubbed open and scabbed up or something. I e attached pictures but please let me know if they don’t upload correctly. I have replaced any rocks and wood in her tank so it’s only fabrics and the outside glass, her floor is felt, and I plan on applying betadine 2x a day or so to see if it improves. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do! Can I put a bandaid on it?? Would that help at all? Neosporine? I have no idea.
It’s on the bottom of her front foot, she had a neighboring toe amputated for an infected cricket bite years ago.
