Alright so i ordered 1000 crickets on sunday night, from lllreptile. but they dont track feeder shipments, so i was thinking they'd either come wed. or thursday.
well todays wed. and its 8 PM. so they are not coming today.
and here in Albuquerque, its lately been about 40-45 at night. but we got a really bad cold front in today, and its suppose to get down to 29 degrees tonight.
i was hoping they would come today, because now im afraid they are all going to be dead when they come tomorrow...
im like completly out of crickets and have been for a couple of days now. ive been having to buy 60 crickets everyday lately at the petstore... but that can get expensive!
and i dont want to have to wait until next week for another shipment if they all show up dead tomorrow

They should be fine. Call them in the morning. We've had that happen before up there.

if they all show up dead will they send another shipment at their expense?

yeah if your shipment arrives dead all you have to do is call them within the 24hour period that you received the crickets and tell them they were dead and they should send you another order for free. sometimes they will ask for the dead shipment back or at least some proof.

I always order on the weekends (I have ordered from several places). They ship on Mondays and arrive on Wednesdays.
It's possible that they didn't ship them on Monday, though.
I like lllreptile, but I haven't ordered feeders from them.. I would try some place else, next time.. if they make you feel that uncomfortable. There are a lot of good places out there

yeahh i normally just order from premium and they always come wed.
i dont think ill order from lllreptile anymore.
its 10 dollars cheaper, but its not worth it.

surprisingly, they came today, and only about maybe 50 were dead out of 1000
i was soooo surprised.
its a miracle they lasted through 29 degrees last night.

im not sure ill even be able to order crickets when mid winter hits.
some nights it can get down to 10 degrees at night.
but thats only when its snowing...

We got our crickets today from them also. I'd have to say that practically none of ours were dead. Glad you got your shipment today.

50 out of 1000 still, I would probably still be upset over that. That's 3 days worth for my BD. But, atleast all of em werent dead.

nahh thats no biggie.
whenever i order from Premium, they come wed., and about 50 are dead too. and its not normally 29 degrees at night.
well it hasnt been lately. it will get that low later.
i guess im just used to it.
i think its the shipping companies here. they take FOREVER to get to my house.
i think im like the last stop or something. sometimes i wont get crickets/items until 7:30 at night.
Fedex is a little better, but UPS takes FOREVER!

my big growing male usually eats anywhere from 40-50 a day. he just eats and eats and eats.
but because my female is still a little girl, i have to get small crickets, so thats probably why he eats so many.
