hey my beardie Chase is just a month or so old, still a baby, about 3-4 inches with tail, i got him on friday, and then yesterday thru out the whole day he only ate like 8-10 crickets, he/she wasn't interested in the rest as if he was full(i heard babies are suppose to eat ALOT of crickets, so i'm worried), then later on in the day I saw it move it's head left to right and a cricket that it ate came out(it was dead tho, he just vomited it out), it had no interest in eating anymore and Chase decided to go sleep, and now in the morning he is at the basking spot is at just about 102F, I tossed like 6 crickets in so that he could eat and he just looks at them and then goes back to basking away, i've kepted putting in greens and fresh water daily and he also doesn't go for it not even the water on the tip of his nose. I'm really worried. Someone please help
I'll go over what his Viv is like.....
40G Viv
Substrate:Ceramic Tiles
large branch for him to climb and bask (he/she is 6 inches away from it)
ZooMed PowerSun MVB 100 watt
ZooMed RedNightLight 60 watts (going to switch to ceramic emitter soon)
Digital Thermometer with the probe right on the basking site
Dial Thermometer(Stick-on) on the cool side (going to switch it for a digital one soon)
Water Dish
Food Dish
Small Hut to hide

Well, it sounds like you've got the basics covered. It's not unusual for beardies to show some relocation stress and not eat for a few days after moving to a new home. Keep offering him the crickets and he should start to eat in a couple of days. The vomiting is a bit odd - how big are the crickets? They should be no larger than the space between his eyes.

ETA: OMG, I just watched the video and Chase is so little and cute! What a doll! :love5:

Thankyou so much, I really hope it's just the relocation stress, but Chase is real cute, that's why I love him/her, I liked the video too.....

WAIT!!! This just in... Chase had at least six crickets when I took a small nap and now their ALL GONE so got up and look carefully and saw nothing then he came running to the side of the glass I was at very quick! I think he saw the cricket case that was over my shoulder, so I gave him 4 and he ate two of them! I think he's full, I guess the orange cubes I got to gutload the crickets worked and Chase is full :) so happy

Hey, well I don't know how to size crickets too well but I believe they are baby crickets, smaller than the width of his eyes and then some look like exactly the length, I try to pick the smaller crickets, I'm afraid to pick the others up because idk if they will be just a lil too big

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
