im worried about my little beardie because his belly is going from creamy to black. last friday i moved him into his new 45gal viv (all of his old decor is in his new tank) and he seemed to be doing great on friday saterday and sunday morning. his belly was creamy white and he was chompin on his lettuce and running around happily. on sunday afternoon when we got back from a repti-show, my girlfriend put her new baby german giant into the tank and they were both basking on his rock. we went downstairs to deal with the 500 crixs we bought for 5 mins. when we came upstairs, the new dragon was posing on the rock and diego was hiding in the corner under his blanket. we took him and sophia out and put sophia in her tank but diegos belly was dark and spotted not and seemed to be scared. when we put him back in his viv alone he was arm waving very often. it is now tuesday and sophia isnt in the same room as him anymore but he will still arm wave ocationaly and his belly seems to be getting darker. he is stille ating fine but im worried that he is very stressed out.

some basic info.
- he has a repti-sun 10.0 20"
- 75W sun lamp
- 107 basking spot, 90-95 on the warm side and 80 on his cool side. (i use a prob light and give it ~45 mins)
- he eats 30-35 PW in the morning and 30 crix in the afternoon.
- he has a fresh bowl of misted collard greens in his tank every day
- his lights are on from 6am-8:30pm
- he gets 5+ min bathes every day

i will be happy to answer any other question
any help or criticism is greatly apriciated (i just want diego to be a happy little guy)

they are separate now, she was only in there for 5 mins, he probly took one look at her saterday red back and new he could not compete with her beauty. that or she just gave him the stink eye. is his arm waving anything to be worried about? could he also be experienceing relocation stress even though hes in the same room with the same interior as his old tank

The arm waving is a submissive gesture. Could Diago be female and the new one Male ? ;)
Can they see one another ?
You might want to do a deep cleaning, to remove any scent of "her" from his viv.

im not sure at all, the breeder had said that he "Thought" sophia was a girl, but she is really to young to tell. my girlfriend seems to think that diego is a male and i believe her because she used to has many many camelions. his two lumps are starting to become mroe promanant on his tail too. i will try a cleaning tonight for him and see if his belly clears up

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
