Ok so im new with taking care of a Beardy and i was wondering if i could feed him reptiworms ALL the time, im currently feeding him crickets and he loves them but there pretty dear over here! A pack of 40 medium crickets for $6.50 and with these reptiworms you can get 150 for $6.00 and 300 for $10.00. So are Reptiworms safe to feed my Beardy?

They can be used as staple feeders (fed as a primary protein source). They're highly nutritious, well-balanced, and have appropriate calcium:phosphorus ratios for bearded dragons (you will not need to dust them with calcium, though vitamins on occasion are still suggested). Plus, they're super easy to care for (if you can call leaving them alone in the container they come in for months on end in relatively cool temperatures "caring for"), make no noise or smell, and are easy to handle without fear of them escaping.

Ah, that's unfortunate. I'm not sure if they ship to Australia, but you can try contacting Phoenix Worms to see if they do. Phoenix Worms and ReptiWorms are different brands of the same type of larvae (black soldier fly larvae), and both can be used as staples.

I'd say that the only problem is that Reptiworms are tiny so you will need to feed a whole lot more of them than you would of crickets. My baby dragons can eat 80-100 worms daily (I give them all they can eat in 10 minutes, twice a day plus a salad) but they only eat 40-60 crickets daily plus a salad. So, you'd have to figure that into the financial equation to see which is really cheaper, plus shipping.

I ment petshop lol

Umm well ill see if a site will ship over here! Hopefully (Fingers crossed)
I know but i would rather feed my beardie worms than crickets, crickets stink and worms are much eaiser to feed them (as they cant hop/run away) Plus my beardie is VERY lazy, is the crickets right in front of him and he misses it, it will hop away but my beardie wont chase it! hehe.
Thxs!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
