Worms escaping!!!

Our little guy is very happy with his Reptiworms and is eating great but those darn little guys keep getting out of his bowl!

We have slate tile and some of them get between the tile and the glass and even under the tiling. I try to get them out mostly but tomorrow I'm taking his home apart to see if there are any under the tiling.

He's getting big enough that we will be ordering medium worms for him, but are there any bowls that will prevent those darn squiggly guys from escaping?

I sometimes use a small plastic dish. The inside is very smoothe.

I had a similar problem! I started putting the worms inside of a deeper feeding bowl and it had a smooth surface so they had a hard time climbing. I also only gave him a few worms at a time.

I use a glass ashtray. The bd can see movement from anywhere but its smooth so the worms can't get out.

Reptiworms easily climb glass.

They didnt get out of the ashtray but maybe because the edges are high and steep.
I have ordered a feeding bowl from cnsfeeders that supers and dubias cant get out

Did you ever get those feedings bowls?

I bought 2 from that site I linked and paid via Paypal almost a week ago and haven't heard anything back at all. No shipping info, nothing. I even e-mailed them and got no response at all.

Yes I got the order. I also got the bowl. At first, I thought the bowl was flimsy and would be knocked over by Scooby. But, to my surprise, he has never knocked it over and nothing escapes from it. I would recommend trying it, the large dubias cannot get out either.
I had trouble getting a hold of them until i went thru their facebook page. I left them a private messge and was able to contact them.
Have you heard from them yet?

Yeah, I use a deep very small dog food dish I found at the dollar tree to use for worm feeding. Works great, I always had to stand by and watch and make sure some of the worms didn't escape. Easy fix for $1.06 :lol:

I just got the order.

Their customer service sucks lol. Didn't hear from them at all until Paypal informed of the shipment.

I really hope Kosher can't knock it over because, yeah, it is VERY flimsy. We'll see how he likes it!
