I've been trying some new stuff, using the page on Nutrition Content from beautiful dragons dot com… Vincent has decided he loves dandelion flowers, and so I've been mixing other stuff in there since he has renewed interest in the "greens" bowl due to those flowers, to see what he likes, etc… one of the things I tried was what I thought was clover but as I looked into it deeper, it is not. Specifically, if you look at the picture the beautiful dragons site has for "clover" (scroll down, bottom of page http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html under Plants Proven Safe), you will see a picture not of clover, but rather of:
Oxalis stricta, called the common yellow woodsorrel (or simply yellow wood sorrel), or common yellow oxalis, or upright yellow-sorrel.
NOT clover.
That's what I've been offering Vincent (woodsorrel, not clover) and he loves it! He'll pick every single one out of the dish.
Well, it is considered a weed (like dandelion, unlike clover), but is listed as edible and tasty (for humans, at least) and high in vitamin C. I just don't see anywhere that it's OK for beardies.
So, for what it's worth, woodsorrel seems to be OK with Vincent, but it should be known that it is incorrectly identified as clover on the beautiful dragons site.
