Wooden Vivariums in the US?

Hello, I'm getting myself ready to own my first beardie in a few months, after I get enough cash and all the supplies. But most importantly, I can't seem to make a decision on a 20 gallon habitat. I plan to get a juvenile and hand raise it, which means of course I would need to upgrade later to an even larger and fancier tank, but the first home is still very important, but while looking around I noticed that there seem to only be glass terrariums available around me. I like in Washington State, and yeah it gets cold here, so I wanted the best possible heated tank that I wouldn't need to overpower with heaters and bulbs and constant fear that it would get too cold. I wanted a wood/plastic terrarium, as most beardie parents seem to use them. And it of course, keeps heat in.

The best terrarium I'm seeing online over here is Exo Terra, which is glass, but apparently does keep heat inside, and extremely well designed. Has anyone used an Exo Terra for a beardie?

I looked at the Vivexotic vivarium/cabinet sets, and I thought it was a steal at a little over $200, until I realized it was only in the UK. There are some pvc/wood/melamine terrarium sellers on independent websites, but I dont trust that stuff unless it's an actual company.

So my question is, are there any good quality wooden or pvc or non-glass vivariums for bearded dragons that can be shipped to the US? Or is the Exo Terra actually a good product and I should stick with that? For a baby beardie.

Thanks very much

A lot of people like their Eco Terra's.
There are a few wooden and PVC makers here in the US, and many people make their own. Some of the sellers on eBay would have reviews so you could check their credibility.
I encourage you to look for a full size cage, and skip the "Julie" cage though. your little one will appreciate the space and grow faster than you may imagine.

I'm really not handy enough to build a tank myself haha but I did do more research and yeah you're right people really do like the exo terra. I guess I just didnt want to make any mistakes, especially in my chilly hometown. At least I have my own room heater too, just in case :) Thanks very much, I appreciate the feedback, and looks like I'll be shelling out for a 36 inch or bigger first cage XD

You can also look at insulating the back and sides if you are worried. I don't think it would be a big problem though.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
