Wont Get Off!!!

Ok today i was handling my beardie and i was getting his bath ready so when it is all ready i put him in and he just sits there for a while untill my hand gets close enough for him to run and grab on and wont get off! He does that and makes me put my hand in the water and then he will take his bath. HE HATES BATHS!

Brutus constantly struggles during baths. He does NOT like them! And when I keep catching him, trying to wrap my fingers around his front arms to get him in the water, he starts waving- poor guy. He's figured out that he can climb my forearm to get out of the water, so it's a struggle the whole time. But he's gotta take his baths! I understand your frustration!!!

I guess I'm lucky. Socrates loves his baths, especially after he settles in to the temp. difference. Sometimes he sticks his tail straight up in the bath though. We call it his antenna! Usually after about four or five minutes, his tail will go down and he will happily splash himself and swim around in the water. Its quite cute.

i jsut wish that mine will atleast just lay there and take a bath. mabey it because he is young. i dont know lol.

Oh this Thread makes me feel so much better!
Little George HATES bath's as well. He also runs up my arm. I am used to it now and just sit with my arm in the tub pouring water over him for a bit. He then works out that he can not avoid the water and will happily sit on my hand in the water. He freaks out tho if i take my hand away.
