Winter time.

I was curious. Has anyone taken their dragon outside on a sunny day while there was snow on the ground? If so, how did your dragon act. Did they like it?

I have taken mine out during the summer on cool windy days and he didn't seem to like it. He loves being outside on hot days of course but I was wondering if it would be okay to take him outside on a hot day while snow was on the ground, in case he were to walk on the snow, I don't want to shock him...

It should be at least 75 outside for your beardie to be outside. So if there is snow on the ground at 75 something is wrong lol.

Well in Pueblo, Colorado that is far from UN-likely. It could snow one day and be 80 degrees the next if not hotter.

Oh ok lol. I lived in Wyoming for a while so I know about that. Yea I would only take him outside if it is 75 or higher though.

So as far as if there ever is snow on the ground just keep an eye on him? I just let him run around sometime by himself. The yard has a fence that goes into the ground so it's pretty secure and he usually stays in the patch of grass. Btw. It's been years since it's been fertilized or sprayed with anything.

I would not put my beardies anywhere close to cold knowing how reptiles quickly lost body heat. It has to be a minimum of 75-80 degrees and then only if the sun is shining to keep them warm. Why would you put a beardie in snow?

Well I'm not saying I'm going to put him in it. I'm asking if it will be all right to let him be around it.
