Bowser's lights come on at 6 a.m. and go off at 8 p.m. She is on a 14 hour on, 10 hour off schedule.
After 5:00, she will not usually eat if I feed her and starts to try to get cozy in a spot away from her lights. She doesn't actually close her eyes and fall asleep but she normally stays in that position unless I get her out for a bath or cuddles. When I put her back in her viv and set her on her basking rock, she generally stays there with no complaints or anything. It just seems like those last three hours of the day, she really starts to wind down.
I just want to know, is this normal? Should I try to change her light schedule or something? Thanks, folks.
