hello i was wondering if this bug will hurt stanley or any of my other reptiles

I DO NOT FEED THEM TO MY ANIMALS

but for some reason we have found several latly in our house i killed 5 the other day i am not sure where they are comeing from as it is freeezing outside

they look like this from what i can remember i am not 100% sure if this is what it is

the website i found this pic on called it a seed bug?

WCSeedBug_sjt_B.jpg

stanley was trying to get one through the glass the other day so i am sure he would eat one if it got in his enclosure

so i want to make sure that he will not get sick if he accidentally did eat one

if so how can i get rid of them?

thanks

edit:eek:ops i probably should have put this on the health forum oh well

Its hard to tell in the pic but there are alot of different types of seed bugs and this is what I thought looked the closest. Is this the bug?

If it is I would be most concerned about the bite because supposedly they hurt.
or is this the bug?

That is a western connifer seed bug which is also known as a stink bug and although it wont kill him if he eats it can make him ill. They tend to get very upset stomachs for a day or two from them and you will have to give him extra TLC,probiotics, etc to help him feel better sooner. There really isnt alot you can do to get rid of them once they are in but they dont infest so spot killing would be my best advice.

[Also I am moving the topic into health forum]

Aw thats a stink bug!! I love those guys they wont do anything bad, if you cup it in your hands and smell it, they smell like cherries. They like to live on apple trees. They're harmless just put them outside. Where do you live?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
