Will a 6 week old climb onto your hand on purpose?

Hi,
Just curious lol. Our new guy has done this a few times today and we wonder if he *knows* it is *us*?

(We just got him yesterday). A few times today when we reached in to lightly pet him or just to lay our hand near him so he could *smell* us...he would smell us and then climb onto our hands. When I would try to put him back he would *scoot* back away from where I was trying to place him and then turn around and crawl to my chest and lay still.

Last night I held him before bed and he fell asleep on my chest and I wonder if he wants to that again.

I don't know enough to judge if this may be stressing him or not? iow, does he know it is us he is climbing on or just thinks he is *exploring*?

Don't want to over do it, opinions greatly welcomed lol

Hi, from what Ive been reading, that sounds totaly natural. Consider yourself lucky! My Roscoe does not like to be held, but I continue to pick him up and hand feed as much as possible! Hoping he will get used to me and maybe start to like me :wink: After all, I am the one who feeds and spoils his azz!

Our other guy was friendly like this but he was much older...just don't want to stress out such a young 'un!

I have been reading though and patience seems to be the hardest word (LOL) or action for you...time will fix it!
