Wild turtles foot got ran over

I know it's not a beardie, but i know someone can help!! My friend lives in PA, she just txtd me this picture of a turtle saying it's foot got ran over, im assuming by a car. She wants to know what she can do to help it, what it eats.

I'm not sure if it's the case everywhere, but in my area the forest rangers will take care of injured wild animals and some vets that will treat for little or nothing.

For the time being I would keep it warm, maybe give it a bath. I'm not really that knowledgeable about turtles, but that looks like an eastern box turtle. They're omnivorous, about half insect/half plant matter. I've cared for a few turtles short term, they all loved fruit.
