Wild Insects

What do you guys think about feeding you beardie's wild insects that you catch? I think it would broaden there nutritional diet. Expecially grasshoppers and crickets. I used to work in a national park so I always found a wide variety of insects, and she loves eating them. I sometimes let her out and let her find her own insects. Any spiders or ants that walk buy she gobbles up. Its pretty fun to watch.

Any thoughts?

I would be careful because you never no if those wild bugs came in contact with any fertilizers or chemicals! I always say why risk it!! Good luck... :wink:

They can also be full of parasites. I rescued a dragon years ago that was fed a lot of wild grasshoppers, she was full of worms and coccidia.

There are many safe feeders you can buy to provide a varied diet, wild isn't needed.
