Brock does that too.. but it's aways after he eats. I think he's figured out that there's no odor left behind that way instead of going on the paper towel. Smart little bugger.

If he is still a baby 3 times a day is not abnormal if he is eating allot. They usually don't start pooping only once a day until they are about 6 months old.

one way to stop it is give them a bath every other day and they'll usually poop in the bath stopping them from pooping in there cage mine never poops in her cage she doesnt like the smell of it so most times when i take her out she poops likeon the table and i sure would rather her poop out of her cage then in it because when she poops in her cage i have to take out the carpet hose it off then put it on the clothes line to dry it!

I have a beardie that likes to go in his food bowl. I'm almost convinced it's because he watches me remove the bowl all the time to put fresh greens in, so he knows I'll take the poo out too. I'm about to leave the food bowl in for him to poo in and put a secondary salad bowl in there for him to eat out of. Maybe he's training himself to go in the heart-shaped food bowl I got him. Showing me his love?
