why isn't Kirin eating yet?

I got him almost a week ago now... he let's me hold him (well, he doesn't spaz too badly) but won't eat... he kind of runs away from his food.

Here's his set up- warm side is on the left and sits at 94.6 degrees - cool side is about mid 70s (depends on the house temp)

any thoughts?

He has pooed once, and may have nibbled a couple mealworms while I was cleaning his tank, but he never really stalks anything... and if he does, he stalks and then freaks and walks off.

Have you tried alternative live feeders to try and stimulate his appetite?

tried small crickets and small mealworms... he did stalk a meal worm i was bugging him with yesterday, but i accidentally dropped it. he watched it, crept towards it, and then got scared when it turned toward him. =/

What was he being fed before you got him?

well, there was food in the enclosure... I got him from Petco, and he was the healthiest one in there... he was up and drinking when I picked him out... everyone keeps telling me to chill, but I can't help it... Ryuu was a pig (still is) and even my fish don't take this long too eat. And yeah... I'm a worrier
