why do beardies close there eyes sooo much

Hi ,.my beardie name is sniper and hes alert in the morning but some times when hes basking he close his eyes. Is that normal ? when im holding him he alert at first but then closes his eyes and then open them to look at me then close them back . Is he alright ? should i be worried. He poops and He eats crickets but no veggies but he is young i think around 2 months.any suggestions would be greatly apprieciated!!!

mine does this too, and he is about 4 months.
i dont know why they do this, but its normal.
Carlos always closes his eyes, or he will crawl under my blanket on my bed and go to sleep haha

Welcome to the forum It would seem pretty normal if everything else is fine, the only other thing I can think of is if your using a compact fluorescent UVB bulb that could damage his eyes.
