Why are my beardies so flinchy lately?

Lately i have gone to grab my beardies and they flich alot, almost like they dont want me to touch them. i always pet my beardie Pete on the back of the head and he use to love it. Now when i do it he shakes his head really fast as if he is saying get away from me. And my beardie Marley when i go to grab him will flinch and look at me super quick. What is this behavior? is it becuase its getting later in the year? or is it maybe because i have two males and they can see eachother from across the room? i have no clue, someone help!

My friend had something similar to this when he moved them to a new bigger viv.

What he was told if there is alot of open space or new things in the viv that they are not used to they think they can be attacked so are always one defence. My friend just tried to mimic his old viv as much as possible and after a while they became fine to pick up again.

which would explain everything, i just moved both of them to a bigger one.

i am pretty sure it is, becuase they do seem like they have gotten more use to it, it has been a week now.
