I have been wondering this. Especially since I have a flourescent bulb right next to a reptirun bulb. I have a clear 60 watt bulb for basking and a frosted 32 watt bulb for the cooler sde. I know its quite a mixture of lights but which ones are emitting the correct UVA? Thanks a lot

Thats what I thought but I had read conflicting things. I wasnt sure if the clear bulb emitted more than the frosted bulbs

wow this myth is still out there?

"Incandescent lamps are not a source of ultraviolet radiation"

as per GE.

http://www.gelighting.com/na/business_lighting/faqs/health.htm (question 6 "What is the UV output of GE lamps")

I believe people are confusing UVA with INFRARED radiation, which is the radiation that equates to heat. All incandescent bulbs give off Infrared radiation, and thus can be used as heat bulbs. But I have no clue which give off the most or least heat.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
