Where's the best place to get water crystals?????

I have been looking a lot and it seems that everyone uses the water crystals to water their crickets or roaches. Where is the best place to get the crystals from that are still healthy for the crickets. Also, where is the best place to get a decent shipment of roaches to start a colony. I have a couple little beardies that I think would love to chomp on some roaches. Where is the best place to get some good crickets that aren't too pricey either. I have been ordering from lllreptile, which isn't bad, but I kinda got screwed when a bunch showed up on my doorstep dead and fedex guy forgot to have me sign for them.

There are many places that sell the crystals for plants and you can get like 5 lbs for around $10-15. I was just curious if that was the same stuff or if that stuff was bad for the crickets and roaches.

all those are the same i purchased about a pound from a website i dont remember what it is called will look for it and i got them for less 10 dollars shipped so to answer yoy question yeah they are all the same

That's what I use Soil Moist is the brand that I've bought from the gardening department at OSH.

Is that Soil Moist inside the store or in the outside part of the Nursery. Was there before the craft store. Craft stores have two kinds. The normal ones i guess that look like salt crystals and some that are round pellets that end up the size of marbles. Near the candle section of the stores. But they seem to be a bit harder than the salt style crystals. But still work tried then on crikets and supers before the dubias.

The roach guy is a good place to get dubias. ordered the 325 mixed last Sunday and got them Tuesday and now I have close to 600 and have been feeding a little from that same batch. Sappy loves them. I feed a few each feeding right now as I want the colony to build up.

depending on how many egg flats you want/need
unless you order the 140 quantity you are still paying over 20 cents each
if you are looking for a quantity of about 25 the bug depot has a good deal at $5 include the flats with your feeder order saves a bit on shipping also

Go to your local grocery store purchase unflavored gelatin make a large bowl of the clear gelatin and scoop out your portions as needed..cheap simple and great for hot summer months..

Seems like they kinda of nail you on the shipping on most of the egg selling sites. Thats the bad part. Almost ordered a few saw what shipping was went to local store and bought a flat of eggs got eggs and eggcrates for a cheaper price. Well the plus were the eggs.
