Where Do You Get Egg Crate?

I've called a few stores but none of them have spare or excess egg crate. Which makes sense... the eggs usually come inside the crate and then you buy them as a package deal.
But I'm trying to start a roachie colony, and I expect the first batch to come sometime early this week...

So where do you guys usually get your egg crate?? :?:

You can get them from farm supplies online and feed store if you live in the country.

Thanks so much for the ideas, guys! I never thought about either of those ideas, at all. Coco's said they save some for me, and I found super close feed store that sells them for .40 cents a crate!

I get all mine from my neighbors and relatives. I used to get them from a local bakery till they closed. My nosy neighbors kept wondering why people were coming by and staying for five minutes, they thought I was dealing drugs. I told them people come by and purchase roaches from me. Now they think I'm crazy. I asked them who's crazier? me or the people coming to my door with cash to give me for roaches. Now they all save egg cartons for me.

Hahaha. That's funny. I guess I can kind of understand the initial assumption, though.
Interesting note, my aunt was able to snag like 20 crates for me recently for free. Thing is, however, they're not actual egg crate. She got them from Bed Bath & Beyond. They were going to be thrown away.
A lot of their little fragile bathroom ornaments and nick nacks come in crate type packing stuff. So instead of little egg triangles, it's somewhat larger squares. I feel like it would probably still work just as well, though. Same material and all. So if you're ever in dire need, try there!

I also use the beverage holders from McDonalds. I walk in and walk out with a the stack about a foot tall they leave out. I always say "Thank You" (Don't buy anything)
