Where do you feed?

angus wont eat anywhere but his cage so i just put crix in their in the morning and when i get home a check that they are all gone

Watch for crickets in any wood branchs you may have because they like to hide in there. Also they come out at night and bite your dragon while hes sleeping and dragons don't feel it i dont think.

I tried to feed Mojo in the deli cup we bought her home in but she ignored the crix and was desperately trying to get out. When I put her back in her viv with them she had them gobbled up within 4 minutes. Super hunting skills for Mojo lol!

My dragon (adult) will eat pretty much anywhere. When I was giving him supers, I'd either put in a bowl full, hand feed, or put him on the floor and let him "hunt" them. Now he eats roaches, which I can just drop into his cage and he chases them down and chomps them up. The adult male roaches can climb out of the bowl I was using for supers, so I can't really use that anymore. (I learned that the hard way... put a few roaches in the bowl, left, and the next day I was cleaning out the cage and bam, four big male roaches were hiding under a tile).

Her salad stays in the house - sometimes she wants a midnight snack - it's not unusual to find a missing salad should I wake up at 3:00 a.m. and want some OJ.

Also, her salad can be on my lap in a paper towel while I watch a movie. She's moderately spoiled and likes hand feeding when she's out.

As far as the crickets - I mentioned on another thread I have a very large, tall Rubbermaid container. Tiki goes in, crickets go in and can't hide anywhere - Tiki loves chasing them. That way I can be guaranteed no cricket will hide in her house and nip at her at night.
