When to clean Dubia colony?

Hi all,

My Dubia colony is going strong. Unfortunately, my 5 beardies are losing their taste for dubias. It's frustrating after 5 months of breeding!!

Anyway, how would I know when I need to clean my frass? There's maybe a half inch of it under the egg crates. If I clean it, should I clean it ALL out, or just some of it since it's beneficial for the nymphs?


ANy tips would be appreciated.

You can clean it now before it gets too deep. I do a total clean, it won't take long for some frass to build back up for the nymphs.

Mine did this with crix. so I put her on a only veggie diet for 4days. one day meat (not crix.) then 2 days veggie. she didnt like that, but she loved her crix after that. =)
