When is it time to buy a new UVB light?

So my Dad gave me my beardie, almost 2 years ago. I just thought now that maybe its time to change the light? Just wondering how long they are good for, it still works of course. Its a repti-glo 2.0 by the way.

Oh my, it has been about a year and a half to a year and 9 months to late! And next time get the preferred light; reptisun 10.0! The tube lights usually last around 6 months. Go tomorrow!

yes, although they still turn on it wont be emitting any uvb, and the 2.0 was not strong enough for a desert reptile any way.

They need a 10.0, but no the reptiGLO as these can cause health issues, the reptiSUN 10 is best!
