When does a dragon starts to prefer greens

What's up guys!

I just have a question. Does anyone know when a dragon starts to change his appetite from crickets to greens? Many webpages and people say that when a beadie become adult, you should feed them with mainly greens and crickets are only fed once in a while. I am not sure what is the reason that the beardies need to rely mainly on greens when they become adult. Is it because their body needs more vitamin than the animal protein when they are adult?

Also do they just change the appetite themselves? What will happen if you keep feeding an adult dragon with mainly crickets?

chances are that if you don't try to put greens into their diet they will refuse it. Greens give Beardies some nutrients that just cant be found in insects, or so I've read. I mainly feed my beardie the bearded dragon pellets that are bought at the petstore which contain plant and insect nutrients. We get Crickets for a week once a month or so. I give her the odd strawberry or asparagus. good luck! and happy keeping! :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
