When can I expand protein feeding options?

I'd like to introduce some variety to Pascal's insect diet.

He's currently on crickets. Roach feeders are illegal to keep where I live. My current living situation does not allow me to receive live feeders via mail, so phoenix worms are also out (unless someone knows a Southern Ontario local breeder). That leaves worm types.

Pascal is approx. 15" long with a roughly 7/8" space between the eyes. When is it safe to start him on occasional feeder worms, and what type would be best for the young age? (We anticipate him growing to ~24" as he's less than 5 months old.)

Thanks in advance.

Thanks - will look into those on my next store run later today.

What about hornworms or waxworms (both as treats, not staples) - are they soft / small enough? (I don't know what the smaller size on hornworms is)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
