Wheezing

Posted in health thinking it was the right place then I come across this part, but basically Gave my beardie a bath and he let out a wheezing sound after drinking a little bit of water so I popped him back in his Viv where he seemed fine.

a few days pass and he wheezes but keeps his mouth open, wheezing a few more times it looks like he was trying to trow something up, took him to the vet straight away and they said if he doesn't eat come back and get anti-biotics.. So a few days passed and he's eating well but today he's got his mouth open again, black bearding black tail tip and wheezing .... What's wrong with my baby?

May have aspirated some of the bath water (water entered the lungs) ... keep him warm 24/7 and keep a very close eye out for any signs of a respirator infection , beardies can't cough up fluid in their lungs so your best bet is keep him WARM , the warmth will help dry his lungs out, and when he's asleep it can help to arrange his bed so his bottom is higher than his head ( nothing extreme, maybe 1/2 an inch over his entire body length) , so any fluid in his lungs can have a chance of draining out.
The 24/7 warm is easiest to achieve.

Any sign of a RI and I'd get a vet to look him over and start off some medications and maybe nebulization using either targeted medications and or F10.

Oh .... please .... no electric heat rocks.

They are very dangerous to reptiles as they have a habit of overheating .
