what's wrong with the wax worms?

Okay, so the herp vet said to give Papi some wax worms to fatten him up for a couple weeks in addition to his normal diet of salad, supers and crix. Thing is, I bought the first box I bought I didn't know they had to be refrigerated... So this bunch I bought I put in the fridge right away. But now it seems like they're all dead.

Do these little suckers move at ALL or are they dead? They're so disgusting anyway because of the likeness to maggots.

Usually take them out and let them warm up (maybe 1/2 hour before feeding) and then they will start moving.
