What's wrong with his tail??

I've had my little guy for little over a year now and he's been very happy and healthy, but after his last shed (about a week ago) I noticed last night he had a bump and an indent in his tail. Does anyone know what this could be?? He was fine 2 days ago.

Hello,

It looks like he may have caught it on something in his tank. Is there anywhere that he could have wedged it inbetween to have injured it some? This happens fairly often in tanks. They will get something stuck & yank it out to free themselves.
You can get some raw, unpasteurized honey or antibiotic ointment to put on those areas to help out. It doesn't look too bad. Is it raw?
Did that area recently shed?

Thank you!! He does have something's that he could get caught on but I took them all out when I saw his tail I put some ointment on, I'll also try the honey. His tail finished shedding about 4 days ago and it seems a little pink in some parts at the end.
