Whats up with my bearded dragon?

Hello, My bearded dragon Godzilla has been acting differently from his normal behavior. He usually just lounges around but latley he has been fast paced crawling around his terrarium like he is on a mission. He has also been jumping at the heat lamp. Whats up with my bearded dragon ?

How old is he? If nothing else in his environment has changed since he was "normal", it sounds like it could be hormonal.

I change thing around in his terrarium about every month. He is almost five years old.

Maybe don't change it up. Reptiles are creatures of habit, and can get stressed out. Are you simply moving things around or replacing things with completely new furniture?

Was he lounging around for several weeks or a couple months? Could be that he is wound up and wanting to breed.

I cant really say. I dont really remember but he almost always just relaxes and baskes
