I feed my adult male beardie dubias, he eats the larger ones and hand feeding is OK if I offer when he feels like eating. I'd like to know if there is a type of bowl I can use to feed them to him without them getting away. He is a stubborn pain in my rump when it come to eating he only eats when he feels like it and will go days without eating anything if I don't time it just right. I want him to be-able to eat when hes hungry not just when I can hand feed him. He always has a good salad offered everyday (just doesn't care much for them) that usually sits until evening when I clean it out. His temps are great his tank is fine, I am just tired of offering food 20 million times a day in hopes he "feels" like eating, besides with me starting school I won't be home to hand him his food every few hours LOL

Any glass bowl with a straight edge will work, I use a ramekin, but it's just not wide enough so I'm ordering in pet bowls from my work that are 5" wide and 2" tall. I'd say anything similar that isn't plastic and tin would work well.

I'll try the glass bowl with the taller sides I didn't even think of that *head smack* Thanks!

And yes he has me VERY trained LOL

This works fantastic! Anchor Hocking glass ashtray from walmart, I've been using it for a while, and the only time anything escapes is if my beardies sticks his arm in there too long and the climb out on it. Even large 1 inch crickets can't jump out, the glass is too smooth. This has saved me so much time, and I hate to have random feeders hanging out in my beardies viv. Superworms can't escape as well.

I put in no more than 15 large crickets at a time (any more, and they could probably jump out by jumping off of each other) in the morning, along with a piece of of fluker's cricket quencher, and he's good for the day as far as live food goes.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
