Ok so I have 2 dragons, a male and female. We got them in Oct. last year they were about 8 weeks old. So I know they are going on a year. They lived together for the first 6-7 months we had them, our female was always a lot smaller, and she had lost part of her tail early on due to an incident. She has been fine since. In the last 4-5 weeks, they began to stop eating as much. They were eating about 15-30 crickets a day, plus large amounts of greens. Now the mail eats about 15 crickets at a time but only 2 times a week at best and hardly ever eats greens. The female eats a little more but not much. They both hide most the day and if I left them covered they wouldn’t come out at all. There poop looks fine but the male only goes 1-2 times a week. The female will go if she gets a bath but only then. If I take them out and handle them they become very active and run around, but if I don’t they are very lethargic. I’m becoming more and more concerned about their behavior, not sure if it’s bromating, or something else, but if anyone knows anything please help.

Males basking spot is 100-105, under basking is about 80-85. Other side of tank is around 75. Females basking is 100 under is 90 and cool side is also around 75. They eat mostly crickets, greens, and mill worms sometimes.

Switch from feeding mill worms (mealworms?) and try to feed superworms (aka kingworms) instead. Mealworms hold little to no nutritional value that actually gets absorbed during digestion. I have noticed as 3 of my dragons are approaching 1 year old their appetites are seeming to dwindle, I attributed this to them almost being full grown and not in a lot of need of extra foods. I may be wrong here so someone with more experience hopefully will chime in.

I have a lovely three year old and I got him about 6 months ago, when I first got him, he would eat every three or four days but only 3 super worms or so at a time. Now he only eats once every week and a half or so and he only poops about every week to a week in a half. His previous owner, who had 21 beardies, said this was perfectly normal for him, since he aged, he didnt tend to eat much.
He looks perfectly healthy and I havent had a single problem with him. I believe every dragon is different. They will all have a different appetite and all regulate differently. I wouldnt worry about it too much unless they start showing symptoms of them being unhealthy

Ya I am not sure there is a problem, as I said, when there out they are ready to go and very active. Thanks for the reply, it seems its not abnormal for them to slow there eating down a lot. I will just keep watching them and if it ever seems like a problem ill worry then. Thanks

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
